I read this very quickly and perhaps for that reason failed to understand why it matters how many of the world's Jews live in Israel, and how many in other places. Does it have implications for what is currently happening to Palestinians?
I think the purpose is to debunk yet another talking point used by Israel and its supporters that isn't factual. If the truth shall set us free, each step in that direction matters.
